Mr. Hollenberg brings a wealth of experience as a former prosecutor to his Maryland criminal defense work at Jezic & Moyse, LLC. He was an Assistant State’s Attorney for Montgomery County, Maryland, where he tried numerous criminal and traffic cases, building a strong record of litigation experience.
Prior to joining the firm, he was a Staff Attorney at the National District Attorneys Association, where he was assigned to the Traffic Law section, focused on the study of impaired driving and drugged driving around the United States.
After law school, Mr. Hollenberg worked for a small civil litigation firm in Washington, DC that practiced special education law, with the difficult and rewarding task of obtaining appropriate educational placements for disabled children and adolescents.
Mr. Hollenberg obtained his A.B. from Dartmouth College, where he was a double major in Government and Romance Languages. Mr. Hollenberg obtained his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, where he was a Senior Editor of the Business Law Review, and President of the Society for Dispute Resolution. During law school, he was a Marshall-Brennan Fellow in Washington, DC, where he taught Constitutional and Criminal Law to local high school students. Additionally, he served as a Student Attorney for the Community Economic Development Law Clinic, assisting low-income and marginalized groups with organizational and legal support to allow them to grow within their communities.
Mr. Hollenberg is fluent in Spanish, thanks to his mother, who grew up in Spain. He is also proficient in French.
